The injury bug has already started to bite as NC State fans recently got the news from Tom O’Brien that starting CB Rashard Smith will be missing the 2010 season with a knee injury.
The Wolfpack is already missing Jarvis Byrd, a sophomore cornerback who is recovering from a torn anterior-cruciate ligament in a knee and is not expected back until November.
