RALEIGH, N.C. * On Friday, October 15, NC State fans will have their first chance to see the 2010-11 men’s and women’s basketball teams in action at the annual Red Rally. The event will be held at 7 p.m. in
Reynolds Coliseum and admission and parking are free.
Many fans who are unable to attend the festivities will now be able to watch it live, NC State Athletics and Time Warner Cable announced today. The event will be broadcast on TWC Channel 18, which is available in Wake, Johnston and Franklin Counties and will reach more than 250,000 viewers in these communities: Apex, Bunn, Cary, Four Oaks, Franklinton, Fuquay – Varina, Garner, Holly Springs, Knightdale, Louisburg, Morrisville, Pine Level, Raleigh, Rolesville, Wake Forest, Wendell, Youngsville, and Zebulon.
Red Rally will be hosted by the Wolfpack’s former ACC Player of the Julius Hodge and 99.9 The Fan’s Mark Thomas, also a former NC State student-athlete. The event will include drills, scrimmages, a dunk contest, interactive games, giveaways and more. In the event of a capacity crowd, fans can watch a live stream of the Red Rally on the
videoboard at Doak Field at Dail Park.
Arena doors and the Fan Zone will open at 5:00 p.m
