PackPride is reporting that NC State picked up it’s 4th 2012 football commitment today in wide receiver Xavier Griffin out of Deleware. In their free article about the commitment, Griffin had this to say.
“Yes sir, I’ve committed to NC State,” said Griffin. “I really liked the facilities, and I love the offense. They run spread and throw the ball all over the place. I think it’s a great fit for me.
When asked what the coaches have in store for him, he answered…
“The NC State coaches think I can be a big play receiver,” he stated. “They like my size and athleticism. They think I can go up and make plays in the air for them.”
Griffin is 6’3″ & runs a 4.5 forty. According to ESPN he has a 3.4 GPA & has a 29.5 vertical jump. He also held offers from Elon & Norfolk St. Here is a video of the new WR addition…
