Calvin Leslie Will Return for his Junior Season at NC State

We told you that Leslie had informed the (or one of the) coaches last week that he was going to stay at NC State. We also updated you on sources that had been leaking it all weekend. Now, finally we can say it is official. Calvin Leslie will be returning to NC State for his junior season.

This news should put NC State at #1 in the ACC preseason polls and really bring some national attention to Raleigh.

Leslie will hold a press conference at 2pm. We will keep you updated.

Here is what Leslie had to say to GoPack.com…NC State forward C.J. Leslie will return to school for his junior year of eligibility.

“After talking this over with my family, we have decided it would best for me to return for my junior year,” Leslie said. “I’m on track to graduate, which is important to me and my family, and I’m excited about building on what the team accomplished last season. There are parts of my game I want to continue to work on and take more of a leadership role with the team.”
