Rodney Purvis Repping the USA, Picking his Number and Getting a New Highlight Reel
There has been a lot going on with NC State’s top incoming freshman, Rodney Purvis. So, let’s get you up to speed. Frist off, Purvis has been invited to play in the USA Basketball Camp. The camp is used to select 12 players that will represent the USA in the 2012 FIBA Americas USA Championship. Purvis will be in camp June 5-12. The coaches who make this selection are Billy Donovan (Florida), Shaka Smart (VCU) and Mark Few (Gonzaga).
The FIBA games will be held in Sao Sebastiáo do Paraiso, Brazil. Here is who else is playing: ROSTER

In other Purvis related news, he’s decided on his number for NC State next season and has already changed his twitter name to @RodneyPurvis_0. Here’s his tweet.

And here is a pretty cool feature from HighschoolSport.net that documents the life of NC State commit, McDonald’s All-American and Jordan Brand All-American, Rodney Purvis:

In honor of his father (and probably somewhat, Julius Hodge) Warren will be donning the historic #24. No word yet on what the Jules of Harlem thinks of this, but we’ll be sure to find out. Oh, and TJ has changed his twitter name to @T24Warren. Here’s the tweet:
