NC State Sits at #41 in Learfield Cup Standings After Winter Sports

The updated Learfield Cup standings are in, and NC State currently ranks 41st after the conclusion of Winter sports.  Can a new athletic director make an immediate impact?  If NC State continues down this path through the Spring sports, the answer is, yes.  NC State’s average Learfield Cup ranking over the past three seasons has been 77th.

NC State could see themselves move up the charts when the final standings are released at the end of June.  If the season were to end today, the Wolfpack would receive points in Tennis (39th) and Mens Baseball (22nd), Mens Track (33rd), and Womens Golf (24th).
