Many around NC State University fully expected top 25 recruit, Amile Jefferson, to announce his intentions to attend NC State on Tuesday. The addition of Jefferson would have meant ever more talent for next season and enough front court depth to help the Pack forget about DeShawn Painter and Tyler Harris, both of whom transferred this offseason. Unfortunately, Jefferson didn’t select NC State and instead chose cross-town rival, Duke. Now, NC State faces a front court short on experience, requiring sophomore Thomas De Thaey and redshirt junior Jordan Vandenberg to step up in a big way. Fist off, let’s just go...

Amile Jefferson is close to making a decision. No, really this time. According to Adam Zagoria, Jefferson will decide by Wednesday, which just so happens to be the end of the spring signing period. Amile Jefferson will “decide/announce by next Wednesday,” his HS coach, Jason Polykoff, tells @SNYtv. That’s the end of the late signing per — Adam Zagoria (@AdamZagoria) May 9, 2012 We reported about two weeks ago that Jefferson was leaning towards the Wolfpack, but whether he wasn’t 100% sure, or he was having trouble letting the other coaches down easily, he still hadn’t scheduled an announcement. A couple of years ago most recruiting analysts had chalked TJ Warren up as a passive player, who possessed a finesse game and hung out primarily around the three-point line. He’s even willing to admit that they may have been somewhat right. Over the past year and a half Warren has attempted to change that perception with a readjustment of his mental game. His Twitter feed is constantly filled with hashtags like #nomercy, #dominate, or #killerinstinct. His mental shift led to a different product on the court. Warren has transformed his game and in doing so, he changed my perception. His tenacity and aggressive...

We haven’t been able to collect to much information on Morgan, other than he’s new to the scene and NC State is in on the bottom floor. There aren’t many schools that know about this kid, but ESPN’s Dave Telep admits to be blown away by his talents upon first review. Morgan comes from a two-athlete family, both of whom played sports at Clemson. So, watch out for the Tigers in this recruitment. However, I think when all is said...
