VIDEO: Trea Turner's MLB Debut

Last night former NC State shortstop Trea Turner made his debut for the Washington Nationals against the Milwaukee Brewers. He went 0-2 at the plate, but he almost beat out the throw at 1st with his blazing speed.

Per @statcast, Trea Turner reached 22.188 mph on that near-hit. Billy Hamilton has topped that only 3 times this year going home to 1st.

Turner entered the game to a standing ovation and also turned his first major league double play. Check out MLB’s video.
