Here is our VIDEO of NC State head coach Dave Doeren after practice today, talking to the media one final time before the Louisville game this Saturday.

Notes

-Doeren said he has more concerns about the Left Guard position than he does the Running Back position.

-Tyler Jones and Garrett Bradbury have been taking all of the reps at Left Guard.  Alex Barr won’t play again this week.  They hope to have him back next week.  He’s doing drills on land but not pushing with resistance.

-Bryce Kennedy won’t play.  They were hoping he would earlier in the week, but he isn’t ready.

-“If it’s raining, then it’s raining.  We are going to play ball.  It’s going to be physical.  We are going to take care of the football.  As long as it’s not lightning it’s game on.  I hope everyone in the crowd puts a parka on and shows up.”

-They took advantage of the wet grass and the balls slipping around on it this week.  They didn’t use the indoor.

-Johnny Frasier is still redshirting.  He has had an ankle sprain and hasn’t practiced for the last 2.5 weeks, and still isn’t practicing.

-Doeren talked about how they needed the schedule that they have had.  They have played a lot of young players and now some of them are needed as starters.

-“Our defense was ranked 100 and something last year and now we are ranked 3rd in the nation.”

-“Reggie Gallaspy came here early to get ready to play, and now it’s here. He’s ready.”
