CBS’ Jon Solomon ran a piece yesterday citing that college football attendance has increased in the FBS through the first 5 weeks, after declining through Week 5 in each of the last 4 years.  NC State’s attendance is up 3% from last year, which ranks 3rd in the ACC.

7) Louisville -1%
8) Duke -4%
9) Wake Forest -5%
10) Florida St. -6%
10) Virginia Tech -6%
12) Boston College -7%
13) Syracuse -22%
14) UNC -24%

Only 27 of the teams from the Power Five conferences have seen an increase.  Two teams from the ACC represent the bookends of Solomon’s research.  Virginia has seen the greatest increase in attendance through Week 5 (29%) and UNC has seen the greatest decrease (24%).
