NC State has been without one of their best weapons for the past two games. Nyheim Hines injured his ankle in the second half of the ECU game and then was unable to play against Old Dominion. He played last week against Wake Forest, but it was primarily in a special teams role, and he was not at full strength.

β€œHe has had a good week,” N.C. State coach Dave Doeren said on Thursday. β€œThis is the first time he has been able to practice every day and do everything we’ve wanted him to do.” (N&O)

Jaylen Samuels gets all the credit for being the Swiss Army knife, but Hines is quite the multi-use tool himself. He has the ability to line up in the slot, fly past the defensive back on a go route, take carries out of the backfield as a running back, and take it to the house as a kick returner.

The potent Wolfpack just got even stronger.
