Pennix & McNeil Propel Sanderson To 3rd Round of Playoffs

This past Friday night NC State 2018 commits Trent Pennix (RB) and Alim McNeil (DE) helped Sanderson (9-3) beat Middle Creek 40-20 in the 2nd round of the state playoffs.

Pennix has his best game of the season at the time it matters most, carrying the ball 20 times for 235 yards (11.8 ypc) and 3 touchdowns.

McNeil had 5 tackles, forced a fumble, and returned a kickoff 50 yards.

Sanderson, the #4 seed, will take on the #1 seed Wake Forest this Friday night.
