The 2018 NCAA Baseball Championship brackets are out, and NC State is officially the #16 overall seed.

They will be hosting Auburn (2 seed in Raleigh Regional), Northeastern (3 seed in Raleigh Regional) and Army (4 seed in Raleigh Regional).

D1Baseball projected NC State would be the #15 overall seed, but Baseball America nailed it on the head, projecting the Wolfpack as the #16 seed.

If NC State makes it out of the Raleigh Regional, which they have done 4 out of the 5 times they’ve hosed in the past, they will play the winner of the Gainesville Regional, which is hosted by the defending national champions, and #1 overall seed Florida.

NC State’s first game will be against Army this Friday at the Doak at 7pm.

The ACC has the second most teams represented in the field with 6, behind the SEC (12).
