NC State just picked up a BIG commitment from 3-star Offensive Tackle Triston Miller (6’6″/275), the #1 offensive lineman in the state of North Carolina according to Rivals.

Miller ultimately chose NC State over UNC, Kentucky, Arkansas and Maryland.

This one has to be salt in a wound for the UNC football coaches. Miller’s official visit to NC State this past weekend was his first time on campus, but he’d been on campus at UNC numerous times over the past year. It’s also salt in a wound for another in-state rival, considering the fact that Miller was originally a Wake Forest commit.

He attends Charlotte Country Day (Charlotte, NC), and is the 16th commitment in the Wolfpack’s 2019 recruiting class (technically the 15th, because TE Kam Walker’s Blue Shirt Scholarship will count towards the 2020 class, but he will be available to play in 2019).

Miller is the 5th offensive lineman in #Pack19, joining Timothy McKay, Dylan McMahon, Ikem Ekwonu, and Zovon Lindsay.

12 of NC State’s 16 commitment in the 2019 class hail from North Carolina.

This is OUR state.
