After going undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft, Tony Adams signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars, but ultimately he never made it to rookie minicamp because he failed his physical.

Yesterday, Adams once again signed a free agent deal with the Jags. Obviously, Adams has now successfully passed his physical.

To make room for Adams, Jacksonville waived Sean Hickey.

Adams joins Offensive Tackle Will Richardson, one of his Wolfpack “Band of Brothers”, who was drafted in the 4th round of this years draft. He also joins former NC State Tight End David Grinnage.

In my opinion, it was ludicrous that Adams wasn’t drafted. ProFootballFocus gave him a grade of 87.0 last season, which was the third best grade on NC State’s offense, and the 5th best grade by an offensive guard in all of college football.
