ESPN’s FPI Projects NC State Will Win 9 Regular Season Games
ESPN’s fancy schmancy FPI projections look favorably upon the rest of the NC State Football Schedule, predicting that the Wolfpack will win 9 regular season games in 2018. That’s not even considering the possibility of finding a 12th game to replace the loss of West Virginia.
They project a loss against Syracuse on the road, but it’s nearly a 50/50 toss-up, with NC State having a 47.9% chance of victory.
The only team that currently ranks higher than them in the FPI rankings is Clemson (#5), with NC State ranking 32nd. They give the Wolfpack a 10.9% chance against the Tigers.
The Wolfpack’s Offensive efficiency ranks 17th and the Defense ranks 43rd.
