On Saturday  NC State will kickoff ACC play versus Virginia, but before they take the field, here’s a look at which NC State players could make moves in the NC State record book.

Ryan Finley

If Finley were to keep up his insane 352 passing yards per game, he would finish the regular season with 10,449 passing yards, finishing his career in 2nd place all-time. He has yet to have a 3-touchdown performance in 2018, but has pulled off the feat 5 times before. If he were to do so this Saturday, he would tie Jacoby Brissett for 5th all-time. Finley is on pace to finish the regular season with 53 career passing touchdowns.

Finley has only 1 interception so far in 2018. If he keeps up his current pace, his interception avoidance percentage for his career will be 1.43% at the end of the regular season, which would be tops in school history. Finley is also in pace to finish his career 2nd all-time in Total Offense.

If Finley were to keep his current pace, he would finish his career with a passing efficiency of 141.40, which would rank 2nd all-time.

Finley currently is the most accurate quarterback in NC State history.

Completion Percentage
1) Ryan Finley, 63.7%
2) Philip Rivers, 63.6%
3) Mike Glennon – 60.4%
4) Terry Jordan – 60.1%
5) Jacoby Brissett – 59.9%

He also ranks 2nd all-time in 300-yard games, and if he managed to keep an unrealistic pace of doing so every game, he would finish his career with 21, which would be tops in school history.

300-Yard Games
1) Philip Rivers – 19
2) Ryan Finley – 13
3) Russell Wilson – 12
4) Mike Glennon – 8
5) Jamie Barnette – 5

Kelvin Harmon

Junior Wide Receiver Kelvin Harmon will likely pass Mike Quick this weekend, moving into 12th all-time in career receptions. If he keeps up his current pace, he will finish with 162 career receptions in 3 seasons, which would rank 4th in school history. If Harmon crosses the century mark against UVA, he will pass Bryan Peterson, moving into 10th all-time. If he keeps up his current pace, Harmon will finish his Junior season with 2,623 career receiving yards, which would rank 3rd all-time.

Let’s face the facts. Kelvin Harmon will likely be in the NFL next year, but if he came back for his Senior season, he would most likely finish as the all-time leader in receptions and receiving yards.

It’s pretty insane that 3 current NC State wide receivers rank in the Top-10 in 100-yard receiving games in a career.

Senior AJ Cole continues to move up the ranks as one of the most prolific punters in NC State history.
