Freeman recently took an unofficial visit to NC State during the team’s “Primetime with the Pack” kickoff event.

Freeman is still years away as a 2021 prospect, but he’s already gotten an offer from Penn State. He also recently visited UNC.

There is a long way to go with this one, but we’ll keep you posted as his recruitment starts to take shape.

5-Star 2020 Forward Josh Hall (6’9″/190) just verbally committed to NC State, choosing to run with the Wolfpack over Louisville and DePaul.

Rivals ranks Hall as the #26 player overall nationally in the 2020 recruiting class, and 247Sports ranks him as the #2 player in the state of North Carolina. Hall plays for Moravian Academy in Hickory with another NC State commit, 3-Star G Shakeel Moore.

NC State offered Hall a scholarship on April 3rd of this year. He chose to take his first Official Visit to Louisville the first week of September. Hall was supposed to take his Official Visit to NC State the next weekend, but he ended up postponing it until the weekend of October 16th. Ever since Hall took his Official Visit to Raleigh, the buzz was that Hall was going to commit to NC State, but he ended up taking his Official Visit to DePaul on October 27th, who was also recruiting Moore.

Hall is the 5th member of the Wolfpack’s 2020 recruiting class, that is sure to be ranked in the Top-10 when the national databases are updated.

Keatts and two of his assistant coaches were at his game on Friday, and the whole Moravian Prep team was at the Wolfpack’s game in Reynolds Coliseum Saturday afternoon.
