VIDEO: Jakobi Meyers Talks After NC State’s 47-28 Victory Over Florida State

Redshirt Junior Wide Receiver Jakobi Meyers had 9 receptions (11 targets) for 125 yards and a touchdown in NC State’s 47-28 victory over Florida State yesterday. It was Meyers 5th 100-yard game of his career, tying him with Owen Spencer for 7th all-time.

• I just wanted to help the team get back on track. I feel like I wasn’t contributing the way that I could. I just wanted to get more involved, and make more plays.
• The teams we played the past couple of weeks had a really good game plan to take me out of the game. Florida State had a good game plan to, but I had a mission in this game.
• They left their safeties in a lot of one-on-one situations, and don’t really help them a lot. If you can beat the safety, it’s green grass.
• When we’re healthy, I think we can play with anybody.
