Jakobi Meyers Breaks Torry Holt’s Single Season Reception Record at NC State

Redshirt Junior Wide Receiver Jakobi Meyers had a career day against East Carolina today.

His 163 receiving yards were a career high, on 13 receptions and a touchdown. He became the 2nd receiver to cross the 1,000 yard mark in 2018, and only the 5th receiver in NC State receiver to pull off the feat.

With a bowl game left on the schedule, Meyers has 89 receptions this year, which is the most receptions in a single season in NC state history.
