The #10 NC State Women’s Basketball team improved to 12-0 last night, defeating Chattanooga 78-58 on the road.

The victory was the 900th in program history, making them only the 31st team to pull off the feat.

Freshman Center Elissa Cunane led the team in scoring with 19 points (7-9 FG).

Guards Grace Hunter (R-JR) and Kiara Leslie (GR) were the other two players in double figures, scoring 17 and 12 respectively.

NC State is off to the second best start in program history, and is two wins away from tying the record set in 1999-2000.

After the victory, the Wolfpack somehow fell from #2 to #4 in the RPI Rankings.

Here’s a look at the Wolfpack’s stats heading into their next game against Davidson on December 30th.
