Let’s face it NC State fans.

Our mascot is special.

Not every school has a Total Lunar Eclipse named after their mascot like the Wolfpack.

In case you missed it, last night there was a Total Lunar Eclipse, and it was called the Super Blood Wolf Moon.

The reason it was “super” was because it was a Total Lunar Eclipse when it was a “Super” moon. Here’s the reasoning for it being a “Wolf” moon.

So where does the “wolf” part come in? Each moon has its own name associated with the full moon. In January, it’s known as the “wolf moon,” inspired by hungry wolves that howled outside of villages long ago, according to the Old Farmer’s Almanac. (CNN)
