NC State Roster Updates Heading into Spring Camp

NC State released their Spring Prospectus this morning, and there are a few noteworthy roster updates heading into Spring Camp.

The following players are OUT for Spring Practice:

Redshirt Sophomore Tight End Adam Boselli
Redshirt Senior Fullback Marquise Braxton
Freshman Defensive Tackle CJ Clark
Sophomore Running Back Ricky Person
Redshirt Senior Running Back Damontay Rhem

The following to are listed as LIMITED for Spring Practice:

Redshirt Senior Defensive Tackle Larrell Murchison
Redshirt Freshman Linebacker Payton Wilson

• Ricky Person will likely be the starting running back when Fall Camp rolls around, but it’s imperative that Person is fully healthy heading into next season.
• CJ Clark is still recovering from surgery to fix a torn labrum.
• Payton Wilson has been fully cleared to play, but will be limited in the Spring to ease him back.

“He is a big dude,” Doeren said. “He knows both Will and Mike for us. Nobody is more excited than he is. That guy is dying to get out on the field right now. I’m excited for him and it has been a long year.”

“They are not going to let him do everything in the spring because we don’t play until August,” Doeren said. “We just want to be smart. He will be in individual and at some point in the non-contact skelly’s and things like that. It will be a process.” (Rivals)

Also, Redshirt Freshman Malik Dunlap is back at Cornerback. He was listed as a Cornerback last year, was switched to Safety, and is now back to Cornerback.
