3-Star 2020 Tight End Tommy Guajardo (6’4″/230) revealed his Top-6 schools last night, and NC State made the cut along with Michigan St., Minnesota, Iowa St., Indiana, and Boston College.

NC State offered Guajardo a scholarship back on January 28th.

Rivals and 247Sports both rank him as the #23 player in the state of Michigan in the 2020 recruiting class.

While Guajardo is listed as a Tight End, he could project to play all over the field at the next level.

“The first question they want to ask is, what he can play. My response is, it depends on how you coach him,” Powell explained. “He can play defensive end, inside linebacker, outside linebacker, safety, tight end. Right now, he has the most experience at tight end and wide receiver and H-back, to be honest. He can run, he can tackle he can move, he has ball skills, whatever you can coach him up at, he can play.” (Link)

While NC State made the cut, Michigan State is the clear favorite at this point. Guajardo plans to make his commitment in the Spring.
