Offensive Tackle Drew Richmond is one of the hottest commodities on the Graduate Transfer market.

Richmond entered his name into the Transfer portal on January 11th.

After redshirting his first season at Tennessee, Richmond started in 25 of the 28 games he played in for the Volunteers the following three seasons. In his first two years on the field, Richmond played strictly at Left Tackle, but played every snap last season at Right Tackle (started all 12 games).

Coming out of High School, 247Sports ranked Richmond as the #56 overall player in the nation, and Rivals and ESPN both ranked him as the #1 player in the state of Tennessee in the 2015 class. Both 247Sports and Rivals rated him as a 5-star prospect.

Richmond took an official visit to USC on March 23rd, Florida State on March 29th, and Oklahoma State this past weekend. NC State is hoping that they get the 4th.

NC State’s Band of Brothers were one of the best offensive line units in the nation last year, but three of the starters graduated, and will all be playing in the NFL next year.

While starting Right Guard Joshua Fedd-Jackson (JR) and Right Tackle Justin Witt (RS JR) return, the possible addition of Richmond on the Left side would be a glorious addition. Redshirt Junior Joe Sculthorpe will fill the big shoes of Garrett Bradbury at Center in 2019. He served as the 6th man on the Wolfpack offensive line in 2018, and was 5th highest graded offensive lineman in the ACC last season according to ProFootballFocus.
