NC State PG Target Cam Hayes Reclassifies to 2020 Class

Published

on

4-Star Point Guard Cam Hayes (6’2″/175), who took his 1st Official Visit to NC State this past weekend, has officially reclassified to the 2020 recruiting class.

Hayes is taking an Official Visit to Louisville the weekend of September 21, and Florida State the following weekend.

His mother explained the reasoning to Stock Risers, and said the goal is to make his decision prior to the start of basketball season.

“The majority of the schools recruiting Cam wanted him for 2020. He has the credits needed to graduate in his original class, and he’s happy with his recruitment so there is no need to do an extra year in high school. As a family, we feel that Cam is ready to come out in 2020,”

“Cam plans to make a decision prior to the start of his high school season so that he can focus on his senior year and enjoy his last year of high school,” (Stock Risers)

4-Star C Cliff Omoruyi Includes NC State in Top-8

Published

on

4-Star 2020 Center Cliff Omoruyi (6’11″/235) revealed his Top-8 schools today, and NC State made the cut alongside Memphis, UCONN, Rutgers, Kentucky, Miami, Auburn, and Arizona State.

NC State offered Omoruyi back on June 30th of last year, and he included the Wolfpack in his Top-13 back on September 28th.

247Sports ranks Omoruyi as the #42 overall player in the nation in the 2020 recruiting class, the #8 Center, and the #2 player in the state of New Jersey. Omoruyi plays for Roselle Catholic (Roselle, NJ).

He doesn’t plan on making his decision until April 15th.

Technically speaking, NC State’s class is full, but you have to always be prepared for attrition, especially if Redshirt Junior Forward D.J. Funderburk decides to explore his professional options after 4 years of college.
