NC State’s Trenton Gill Named to Ray Guy Award Watch List

NC State Redshirt Sophomore Punter Trenton Gill has been named to the Ray Guy Award Watch List, which is awarded annually to the best punter in college football.

Gill was awarded a scholarship prior to the season, and has done nothing but exceed expectations. He is currently averaging 47.1 yards per punt, which ranks 2nd in the ACC. If the season were to end today, Gill would break the single season record for yards per punt set by Johnny Evans back in 1975 (46.1).
