NC State Men’s Basketball to Open 2020-21 Season Against Charleston Southern

The 2020-21 Men’s Basketball schedule remains a mystery, but it looks like we know who NC State will be playing in their season opener on November 25th: Charleston Southern.

“The Post and Courier has learned that among the newly added contests will be a season opener at N.C. State on Nov. 25 and a game at Duke on Dec. 12.” (Link)

The Bucs were 14-18 in 2019-20.

They lost leading scorer Dontrell Shuler (17.9) to Middle Tennessee State via the Transfer Portal.

Charleston Southern does return their next three leading scorers from last year: Senior’s Phlandrous Fleming Jr. (17.7), Deontaye Buskey (10.5) and Ty Jones (10.4).

Fleming was also the Bucs leader in Rebounds (8.7), Blocks (1.5), and Assists (3.8).
