NC State Football Recruiting Update: 10/12/22

Published

on

The NC State Football Coaching staff has handed out quite a few scholarship offers as of late. Here’s a breakdown.

JUCO Offensive Lineman Keyshawn Blackstock (6’5″/315) picked up an offer from the Wolfpack on October 4th.

Blackstock plays for Coffeville Community College in Kansas, and has offers piled up from App State, South Florida, Auburn, Missouri, Houston, UCF, Colorado, Oklahoma State, Mississippi St, Kansas, Penn St, TCU, Michigan St., Oregon, Maryland, Tennessee, Florida, Nebraska and others.

For an unranked player, you can’t imagine a player getting this kind of attention will stay that way.

On October 7th, NC State offered 2026 Edge Rusher Tyler Atkinson (6’3″/190), who is thought by many to be the best at the position in the 2026 class. Atkinson plays for Grayson in Loganville, Georgia.

The kid already holds offers from Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan St, Mississippi St, Ohio St, Penn St, Pitt, Rutgers, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UCF and others.

Through 6 games in 2022, Atkinson has 50 tackles, 9 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and 3 pass breakups.

The Wolfpack offered 2024 Offensive Tackle Ethan Calloway (6’7″/300) on October 9th out of Lake Norman High School in Mooresville, North Carolina.

Calloway also holds an offer from LSU.

On October 9th, the Wolfpack offered JUCO Defensive End Jykeveous Hibbler (6’2″/255) out of Northwest Mississippi Community College.

Hibbler has 8.5 tackles for loss and 4 sacks through 6 games in 2022.

The Wolfpack offered 3-Star 2023 Linebacker Christian Alliegro (6’4″/220) out of Avon Old Farms in Connecticut yesterday.

He also holds offers from UCONN, Maryland, Minnesota, Rutgers, Wake Forest, Syracuse and Virginia. Technically Alliegro is committed to Navy for lacrosse, but because of how well he did in football in 2021, he decided to prep this year at Avon Farms.

Today, the Wolfpack offered 3-Star 2023 Wide Receiver Devin Hyatt (6’2″/190) out of IMG Academy in Florida.

Hyatt also holds offers from Auburn, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, FSU, Georgia, Louisville, Michigan St, Mississippi St, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn St, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and others.
