The Broncos are 2-5 heading into their Week 8 matchup against Jacksonville, and according to Mike Florio of the NFL Network, former NC State All-American Bradley Chubb is likely to be traded if Denver loses to the Jags on Sunday.
Chubb is a Captain of the Denver defense, was a Pro Bowler in 2020, and has 5.5 sacks through 7 games in 2022.
With the trade rumors swirling around, Chubb is staying focused on the task at hand.
โYeah I heard about them but Iโm just focused on trying to help my guys fight through this,โ Chubb said, via Mike Klis of 9News.com. โI know itโs a business and anything can happen but all I care about right now is my guys and trying to get this thing turned around.โ (Link)
Chubb is the all-time leader in Sacks and Tackles for Loss at NC State, earning Consensus All-American status in his final year, and was drafted by the Broncos with the 5th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Hope he stays, because I live in Boulder. Also hop Wilson can somehow get out of his own way.
Hope, not hop. But right now, with his injured hammy, that’s what he might be doing if he plays.
