As I reported earlier, Texas Tech Defensive Tackle Philip Blidi told me during his Official Visit to Indiana on the weekend of December 16-18, that his next Official Visit would be to NC State. He held up his end of the bargain, because he has scheduled his next Official Visit to NC State on January 6-7th.

Blidi entered the Transfer Portal on December 14th, and he picked up an offer from NC State on the 16th.

In 2022, Blidi played in all 12 games, tallying 18 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks.

Blidi was a 3-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting class, holding offers from Kansas, UCLA, Utah and others. 247Sports ranked him as the #1 player in the state of New Mexico in 2020.

The Wolfpack hosted Texas Tech in Carter-Finley this year, with the home team winning 27-14. Blidi had 4 tackles against NC State. He got a close up view of what a game is like in Carter-Finley, and what NC State’s defense is all about.

Blidi should have 2 years of eligibility remaining.
