NC State Cornerback Shyheim Battle to Return in 2023

NC State Redshirt Sophomore Cornerback Shyheim Battle will be returning in 2023.

In 2022, Battle had 34 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 2 interceptions and 5 pass breakups. He missed 2 games due to injury. Battle started in 7 of the 11 games he played in.

Since 2020, Battle has started in 27 of the 34 games he’s played in for NC State.

In 2021, Battle earned All-ACC Honorable Mention, and was named 2nd Team All-ACC by PFF.

The Wolfpack look to return a solid cornerback duo in 2023 with Aydan White (1st Team All-ACC) and Shyheim Battle.
