I reported on Tuesday that Virginia Quarterback Transfer Brennan Armstrong would be taking an Official Visit on Wednesday. I can confirm that he did take his Official Visit to Raleigh beginning on Wednesday, along with Cavaliers Offensive Lineman Transfer Logan Taylor.
From what I know, NC State felt very good about how Armstrong’s Visit went, and felt they were in a VERY good position to land him.
The thought was he might visit Auburn today, but I can’t confirm that he actually did.
Oklahoma State is the other school that has been in the running for the former Cavalier Quarterback.
Don’t be surprised if a decision from Armstrong comes sooner than later, and my expectation is that he will be wearing Red and White next year.
I get why everyone is nervous about this, MJ looked decent and we don’t want to lose him.
On the other hand, this QB thrived under our new OC and could be a great example / mentor for MJ for one season.
And we went to our 4th string QB this season, having quality depth shouldn’t concern anyone.
And I suspect there’s going to be good QBs in the portal every off season.
Its interesting what DD had to say regarding MJ not playing in the bowl game.
