#3 NC State defeated #22 FSU 88-80 in overtime tonight in Reynolds Coliseum. Below is the Box Score, with notes underneath. For the 4th time in school history, the Wolfpack are 14-0.

Notes

• Senior River Baldwin led NC State with 21 points tonight, shooting 10 of 14 from the field. She also led the team with 3 blocks, and grabbed 8 boards.
  • Unfortunately, Baldwin left the game in the 3rd Quarter with what looked like an injury to her ankle.
• Junior Aziaha James chipped in 18 points, making 8 of her 15 shots.
• Freshman Zoe Brooks posted 15 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists, making 5 of 9 of her shots.
  • Brooks scored 15 of NC State’s 17 bench points.
• Junior Saniya Rivers and Senior Madison Hayes didn’t shoot particularly well, but they also scored in double figures.
  • Rivers had 12 points (4 of 13 FG), and led the Wolfpack in assists (4) and steals (3). Rivers also had 6 boards.
  • Hayes had 11 points (3 of 9 FG) and 7 boards.
• Senior Mimi Collins had a team high 11 boards and 9 points.
• NC State scored 15 second chance points, compared to FSU’s 8.
• The Wolfpack led for 31:24 out of the 40:00.
  • The Seminoles led by 4 points with 5:35 left in the 3rd Quarter.
