When NC State picked up a commitment from UCONN’s Justin Joly out of the Transfer Portal this offseason, they picked up a commitment from the highest ranked Tight End in the Portal.

According to PFF, Joly boasts the highest Grade of any returning Tight End’s in the ACC.

Joly will be a Junior next year, with 3 years available to play his final 2 years of eligibility. He had an incredible Sophomore campaign this past season, catching 56 passes for 578 yards and 2 touchdowns. Joly had 4 receptions for 38 yards in the season opener against the Wolfpack.

Also, according to PFF, Joly forced 20 missed tackles last season, and caught 12 contested balls, ranking first amongst Tight Ends nationally in both categories.
