They will be joined by Purdue, BYU and Ole Miss. The Boilermakers were the National Runner-Up this past season, and finished the season ranked 2nd. The Wolfpack made the Final Four, and finished ranked 10th. BYU finished right outside the Top-25.

Purdue and Ole Miss both are projected to start next season ranked in the Top-25 in the Preseason Poll.

The inaugural Rady Children’s Invitational Tournament was this past season, featuring Oklahoma, Iowa, USC and Seton Hall. The Sooners defeated the Trojans in the Finals to win the Tourney, and Iowa defeated Seton Hall in the Third Place game.

NC State hasn’t always boasted the strongest non-conference schedule, but after winning the ACC Championship and going to the Final Four this past season, it looks like next years strength of schedule will be much more impressive. NC State will be playing at Kansas next season, and the Jayhawks are likely going to the Preseason #1 team. Also, a game against Marquette might be in the works next year, which would be a rematch from their Sweet 16 matchup this past season. The Golden Eagles are likely a Preseason Top-15 team.

The Wolfpack will have chances to shine on a national stage early in the season next year.
