NC State has the 10th Best Odds to Win the 2024 College World Series

There are 16 teams left in the 2024 NCAA Baseball Tournament, and NC State has the 10th best odds to win the College World Series in Omaha.

In some ways, this makes perfect sense, because the Wolfpack are the #10 overall seed in the Tournament.

With that being said, UVA and Oregon State were both seeded below NC State, yet have better odds to win the whole thing.

Maybe I can understand the rationale behind the Cavaliers having better odds, because they don’t have to play a Top-16 seeded team in the Super Regionals, because Florida knocked out their Regional Host #11 seed Oklahoma State, and the Gators were the #3 seed in their Regional. Also, I’m not sure I get the logic of #15 seed Oregon State having better odds than the Wolfpack, considering the fact they are facing #2 seed Kentucky.

Either way, to carry on the phrase from basketball season, “Why Not Us?”
