Makarewicz & Pennington Rank 4th in NC State History for 2B’s in a Single Season

Senior 3rd Baseman Alec Makarewicz hit a Double in NC State’s 18-1 win over Georgia in the Super Regionals this afternoon, tying him with Senior 1st Baseman Garrett Pennington for the team lead, boasting 25 Doubles apiece this season.

As a result, Makarewicz and Pennington are both tied for 4th all-time in school history for Doubles in a single season.
