Game 3 of NC State vs. Georgia was Tied for the Most Viewed Game in the 2024 Super Regionals
NC State’s 8-5 victory over Georgia in Game 3 of the Athens Super Regional on Monday night was tied for the most watched game of the 2024 Super Regionals, garnering 1.2 million viewers.
Game 2 of Clemson and Florida’s Super Regional also attracted 1.2 million viewers.
According to ESPN PR, this round of Super Regionals was the most watched since 2009, averaging 501k viewers, which was up 22% year-over-year.
According to ESPN, the Wolfpack’s victory over the Bulldogs was the most watched Pre-College World Series baseball game “on record.”
People love watching NC State play in the postseason. As we saw earlier this year, NC State’s victory over Duke in the Elite Eight was the most watched game in the 2024 Men’s NCAA Tournament, garnering 15.1 million viewers.
