The Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award has been given to the Best Upper Classman Quarterback in College Football since 1987.

McCall has also been named to the Watch Lists for the Maxwell Award, Walter Camp Award, Comeback Player of the Year Award and the Davey O’Brien Award.

McCall transferred to NC State from Coastal Carolina this offseason. He won the Sun Belt Player of the Year award in 2020, 2021 & 2022.
