Expectations are high around the NC State Football program this season. With the College Football Playoff expanding to 12 teams, the Wolfpack is hopeful they can find their way in.

Since the College Football Playoff was formed in 2014, the only two ACC teams to make it have been Clemson and FSU. NC State has the most wins in the ACC without a playoff birth since its inception.

The Wolfpack have been a model of consistency under Dave Doeren, but with the talent on this years team, the hopes are that they won’t be on this list heading into next season.
