3-Star ATH Gerritt Kemp Flips Commitment from Duke to NC State!

Published

on

3-Star 2025 Athlete Gerritt Kemp (6’3″/185) has flipped his commitment from Duke to NC State!

On June 9th, Kemp verbally committed to Duke. The Wolfpack offered him back on January 23rd, and obviously they never gave up on pursuing Kemp.

As a Junior at Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA) this past season, Kemp had 16 receptions for 514 yards and 7 touchdowns. On defense, he had 30 tackles, 3 interceptions and 6 pass breakups.

It’s flip season in Raleigh, and I don’t think Kemp will be the last one we see.

NC State now has 17 verbal commitments in their 2025 recruiting class: 4-Star RB Kentrell Rinehart, 4-Star WR Jerel Bolder, 3-Star C Isaac Sowells Jr., 3-Star RB RJ Boyd, 3-Star WR Arrion Concepcion, 3-Star ATH Gerritt Kemp, 3-Star CB Cam Strong, 3-Star QB Will Wilson, 3-Star TE Gus Ritchey, 3-Star DE Colby Cronk, 3-Star S Tristan Teasdell, 3-Star WR Jamar Browder, 3-Star CB Caden Gordon, 3-Star OL Michael Gibbs, 3-Star DL Makhi Williams-Lee, 3-Star DL Omarian Abraham & 3-Star OL Kage Payne.
