Kevin Concepcion is the 2nd Fastest to Reach 1,000 Receiving Yards in NC State History
On Saturday night, Sophomore Wide Receiver Kevin Concepcion crossed 1,000 career receiving yards. For his career, Concepcion has 85 receptions for 1,013 yards.
Concepcion is the 2nd fastest to 1,000 career receiving yards in NC State history, pulling off the feat in his 15th career game.
Koren Robinson is the fastest player in NC State history to reach 1,000 receiving yards, doing so in his 13th game.
You could make the argument that KC was the fastest, doing so as a True Sophomore. Robinson reached the 1,000 yard mark as a Redshirt Sophomore, in his 3rd year in the program.
It’s fitting that Concepcion crossed 1,000 yards in Charlotte, North Carolina, which is his home city.
