NC State vs. Tennessee was the 4th Most Viewed College Football Game in Week 2
As a football program, you want the opportunity to play in nationally televised games, because a lot more people see your football program. On Saturday, a lot of people did watch the Volunteers beat the Wolfpack 51-10, to the tune of 2.96 million viewers, making it the 4th most viewed College Football game of the week.
The hope is, when you get the chance to play before the masses, you elevate your stock in their estimation, which can increase a fanbase, revenue, recruiting success, etc. Unfortunately, NC State’s stock didn’t rise in front of 2.96 million people last Saturday.
