Redshirt Junior Wide Receiver Jalen Coit – 58.3
Redshirt Junior Left Guard Anthony Carter Jr. – 57.5
Redshirt Senior Center Zeke Correll – 57.5

Junior Wide Receiver Wesley Grimes – 55.1
Freshman Wide Receiver Terrell Anderson – 55.0
Redshirt Senior Running Back Demarcus Jones II – 54.9
Redshirt Junior Wide Receiver Dacari Collins – 53.9
Redshirt Junior Tight End Matt McCabe – 53.9
Sophomore Running Back Kendrick Raphael – 53.4
Freshman Wide Receiver Keenan Jackson – 45.4
Junior Tight End Justin Joly – 44.0

Notes

  • Redshirt Freshman Wide Receiver Noah Rogers had team high grade of 74.3, which was a season high for him.
    • No offense to True Freshman Keenan Jackson, but his grade was 45.4, and he played 4 more snaps than Rogers. How is Rogers not playing more snaps? My assumption is that Jackson is being brought in for run blocking over Rogers. Jackson played 16 snaps in run blocking situations, while Rogers played 7. If that’s the reason, the grades didn’t prove Jackson needed to be on the field over Rogers. Noah’s run blocking grade was 61.4, while Jackson’s was 47.5.
  • Junior Tight End Justin Joly’s grade of 44.0 is a season low.
  • Keenan Jackson’s grade of 45.4 is a season low.
  • Sophomore Running Back Kendrick Raphael’s grade of 53.4 was a season low.
  • As a team, the Wolfpack’s offense graded out at 54.8, which is the 2nd lowest grade of the season, behind a 51.2 against Tennessee.

WATCH: NC State CB Aydan White’s Postgame Press Conference After Loss to Wake Forest (with transcript)

Published

on

NC State Cornerback Aydan White met with the media for a postgame press conference after the Wolfpack’s 30-34 loss to Wake Forest this afternoon. You can watch the video ABOVE, and read the transcript BELOW.

What happened defensively in the 4th Quarter?

I think we just stopped playing together and we stopped just communicating. That’s what ended up happening on the last couple of downs.

There’s no communication by us. And they end up making the plays that we should have made.

What’s the key to bouncing back to a heartbreaking loss like this one?

Everybody’s got to stick together and just know what we want at the end and just keep chasing what we can do.

Just making sure we keep staying together and no outside noise from anybody.

Is there a specific message that you’re giving to your teammates?

We just got to finish. That’s what we didn’t do.

Up by 10 points in the fourth quarter and didn’t finish the game. I mean, that’s what it comes down to. We just got to finish as a whole.

What did the defense do early to try to support CJ Bailey?

Yeah, just letting CJ know he young. Just got to instill that confidence in him that we got your back.

If you make a play, you don’t make a play. The defense is going to go out there and play the same if Grayson was out there or not. So just telling CJ we got his back no matter what happens.

What was the message to him afterwards, given the way that things ended?

Just knowing that we still got your back no matter what. You came in the game, you end up leading us back to taking the lead. We got your back no matter what.
