NC State vs. Coastal Carolina: A Historical Perspective

NC State (2-0) will host Coastal Carolina (1-1) tonight at 7pm in the Lenovo Center on ACC Network Extra.

Tonight’s game marks the 4th time the two teams have played one another in a series that dates back to 1988-89. The Wolfpack is currently 3-0 against the Chanticleers on the hardwood.

NC State won 97-69 in the first matchup, back on January 12th, 1989. Chucky Brown had 20 points and Avie Lester had 15.

The Wolfpack won the 2nd game 86-78 on January 7th, 1991.

In their last matchup, NC State won 81-56 on November 21st, 1998.

Tonights matchup will be the first time that Coastal Carolina has played in the Lenovo Center, with the first three games being played in Reynolds Coliseum.
