Former NC State All-American LB Payton Wilson Scores his 1st NFL TD!

Former NC State All-American Linebacker Payton Wilson scored his first NFL touchdown today in the Steelers game vs. the Bengals.

Pittsburgh Linebacker Nick Herbig forced Cincinnati Quarterback Joe Burrow to fumble the ball via a strip sack, and Wilson scooped the ball up, and ran it into the end zone from 21-yards out.

Wilson is having an incredible rookie season. Entering today’s contest, his 48 tackles ranked 4th on the Steelers. His PFF grade was 76.2, which ranks 6th on Pittsburgh’s defense, and the 10th highest graded Linebacker in the NFL. Wilson entered today with the 5th best Coverage Grade by a Linebacker in the NFL, and the 9th best Pass Rush Grade.
