Despite Losing 3 Straight, NC State is Favored Against FSU in Their ACC Opener

NC State (5-3) will host Florida St. (7-2) this afternoon in the Lenovo Center for their ACC Opener. The Wolfpack is currently a 4.5-point favorite, and the total is 148.5. The Moneyline for the Wolfpack is -200, and for the Seminoles it’s +170.

I mean no disrespect to the head team, but I’m a little shocked that Vegas has NC State favored at all, let alone by 4.5. ESPN Analytics agrees, giving the Wolfpack a 69.3% chance of winning. KenPom also agrees, predicting the Wolfpack to win 73-71, with a 57% chance of victory.
