Redshirt Junior Offensive Guard Anthony Carter Jr. just announced that he has re-signed with Savage Wolves, NC State’s Football NIL Branch (as a part of 1Pack), which means he will be returning in 2025. He has 1 year of eligibility remaining.

After starting the final game of the 2022 season, Carter Jr. started 12 of 13 games in 2023, with 11 of them at Right Guard, and 1 of them at Left Guard. This season, he has started every game for the Wolfpack at Left Guard.

Carter Jr. vastly improved in year 2 as a starter, improving his PFF grade from 56.5 to 70.4.

With the return of Carter Jr., NC State knows they have at least 1 returning starter on the Offensive Line in 2025. We are still waiting to see if Redshirt Sophomore Right Tackle Jacarrius Peak is returning. Left Tackle Anthony Belton, Right Guard Tim McKay and Center Zeke Correll are out of years of eligibility.

Expect NC State to be active in looking for Offensive Linemen in the Transfer Portal.

Carter Jr. is the 17th player to re-sign with Savage Wolves.
