NC State DE Isaiah Shirley Re-Signs With Savage Wolves for 2025

Redshirt Freshman Defensive End Isaiah Shirley just announced that he has re-signed with Savage Wolves, NC State’s Football NIL Branch (as a part of 1Pack), which means he will be returning in 2025. He has 3 years of eligibility remaining.

Shirley has been a 2nd string Defensive End all season, playing in 11 games (192 snaps). He did get 1 start against Northern Illinois. Shirley finished the regular season with 15 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 1 sack and 1 forced fumble. His PFF grade is 64.0.

Shirley redshirted in 2023, but he did play in 4 games, at both Defensive End, and Tight End (strictly for blocking).

With Senior Davin Vann running out of eligibility, NC State is in need of players to step up at Defensive End. Redshirt Junior Travali Price, who has been the starter on the opposite side of Vann all season, has 1 year of eligibility remaining, but it hasn’t been confirmed yet that he is returning.

Shirley is the 19th player to re-sign with Savage Wolves.
